Here are 10 of the worst lies that have been peddled by Western governments and media lackeys regarding liberation of Eastern Aleppo in Syria.

Turkey is Looting and Destroying Aleppo, Syrian Industrialists Seek International Justice
While the large industrial complexes in northern Syria were once reminders of the strong economic ties between Ankara and Damascus, Aleppo’s businessmen now hold Turkey responsible for the destruction and looting of their factories.
It may not be a bright idea to introduce yourself as from Turkey to people you meet in the areas controlled by the Syrian army. Alevi, Sunni or Christian, it doesn’t make a difference. They are all enraged. But I always introduced myself as a Turk in my travels from Damascus to Aleppo, from Homs to Tartus and from Latakia to Kesab. Almost everybody I met started the conversation, “We like Turkey and Turkish people,” but inevitably ended it with critical remarks against the Ankara government, particularly President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Many leveled serious charges against Turkey, including supporting terror and plundering.
I listened to a Syrian army commander in the rubble of centuries-old historic buildings in divided Aleppo say, “The basic reason for the fall of Aleppo and Idlib to armed groups is the terrorists sent from Turkey and the support Turkey gives to them.” At Sheikh Najjar Industrial City I heard even more damning accusations that may take Turkey to The Hague. Aleppo industrialists say more than 300 factories were plundered and their equipment sold in Turkey, hence their decision to settle their accounts with Turkey at the International Court of Justice.

Why Syria is Winning:
Advancing towards a Strategic Victory that will transform the Middle East ?
Syria is winning. Despite ongoing bloodshed and serious economic pressure, Syria is advancing steadily towards a military and strategic victory that will transform the Middle East. There is clear evidence that Washington’s plans – whether for ‘regime change’, for rendering the state dysfunctional or for dismembering the country on sectarian lines – have failed.
That failure will fatally wound the US dream, announced a decade ago by Bush junior, for a subservient ‘New Middle East’. Syria’s victory is a combination of coherent popular support for the national army, in face of a vicious sectarian Islamists (takfiris), firm backing by key allies, and fragmentation of the international forces lined up against them.

War crimes alert: Turkish daily: “Aleppo to become the 82nd province of Turkey”
Sunday Aug 9th, 2015 2:29 PM
The predatory motives behind NATO’s genocidal covert war on Syria are becoming ever more transparent.
Aleppo [to become] the 82nd [province of Turkey]
A “buffer zone” will be set up in the north of Syria. This area, which includes Aleppo, will be fully controlled by Turkey.
[Once] U.S. and Turkey sealed the “Incirlik [Airbase] Agreement”, the political and military balances began shifting rapidly. […]
U.S. newspapers reported that “the new map [of Syria] will be drawn during Erdogan’s meeting with Obama”. […]
As for the British media, they published more detailed analyses [and] put forward the claim that “the buffer zone [in Syria] will be granted to Turkey”.
Takvim produced a map of that area [in northern Syria] which is preparing to become our 82nd province.
[editorial note: According to the map in Takvim’s front page, the prospective “buffer zone” contains not only Aleppo but also Idlib and the north of Latakia.]

. . . . . . . .
Someone is lying.
The “recent conquests” of ISIS and al Nusra are, it seems, not only many months, even years old, but quickly being reversed without or may we say “despite” involvement of NATO and Israel.
What is also clear to all but the US press is that Turkey is ISIS, so is Saudi Arabia and Qatar. The US has now forgiven al Qaeda and openly supports the nations that not only supply and fund ISIS but as with Israel and Turkey, the nations that give air and artillery support, safe haven as well, to ISIS forces.
You see, these news stories get out as well, the Israeli and Turkish air and artillery attacks on Syria or the Kurds, the C130 aircraft dropping supplies to ISIS fighters who move in and out of Turkey, Jordan and Israel like they live there, which of course they do.
Five years later, Syria is there, battered, millions living without clean water or electricity, Turkish planes overhead with NATO blessing bombing civilian targets, but Syria is there.

Censored, Assad Tells It as War With Turkey Looms

In case you forgot: The Syrian 2013 Sarin Gas Attack. The Facts
Most disturbing to read more headlines these days with the US again accusing Assad of using chemical weapons against his own people. The last time this happened in 2013 the western narrative and playbook went as follows:
1. Assad must go. [Reason? To break Syria up as a country and to put a stop to the planned gas pipeline from Iran through Syria and into Europe and instead have a pipeline from Qatar through Syria and to Europe. This would also solve Israel’s still disputed occupation of the “Golan Heights,”which would then no longer be disputed. And this is a prelude to bombing Iran]
2. Assad kills his own people with Sarin Gas.
3. Order a no fly zone through the UN security council
4. Bomb the country to smithereens a la Libya.
5. Completely destroy and obliterate all Orthodox Christian communities in Syria which are some of the oldest Christian groups in the world.
How do they justify this political criminality? Basically through Isaiah Chapter 17, which as Gov Sam Brownback has interpreted:
“The idea behind the prophecy is a fairly straightforward one. In Isaiah 17, the prophet explains that, in the run-up to Armageddon, “Damascus is about to be removed from being a city, and will become a fallen ruin.” The implication is that it will be leveled by God on behalf of Israel as part of the last great struggle for mankind.”
It would seem that Brownback needs to double check his sources. Because if you read The Dead Sea Scrolls version of Isaiah 17, what it basically says is that those nations who attack Syria are looking for trouble. In the last verses it says:
“Woe to the many nations that rage— they rage like the raging sea! Woe to the peoples who roar—
they roar like the roaring of great waters!
Although the peoples roar like the roar of surging waters, when he rebukes them they flee far away,
driven before the wind like chaff on the hills, like tumbleweed before a gale.
In the evening, sudden terror! Before the morning, they are gone! This is the portion of those who loot us, the lot of those who plunder us.”

The Day After Damascus Falls

As the nation’s first presidents wisely recognized, there are grave dangers to a republic when it entangles itself in foreign conflicts
Consortium News Exclusive: The Saudi-Israeli alliance has gone on the offensive, ramping up a “regime change” war in Syria and, in effect, promoting a military victory for Al-Qaeda or its spinoff, the Islamic State. But the consequences of that victory could toll the final bell for the American Republic, writes Robert Parry.
By Robert Parry
If Syrian President Bashar al-Assad meets the same fate as Libya’s Muammar Gaddafi or Iraq’s Saddam Hussein, much of Official Washington would rush out to some chic watering hole to celebrate – one more “bad guy” down, one more “regime change” notch on the belt. But the day after Damascus falls could mark the beginning of the end for the American Republic.
As Syria would descend into even bloodier chaos – with an Al-Qaeda affiliate or its more violent spin-off, the Islamic State, the only real powers left – the first instinct of American politicians and pundits would be to cast blame, most likely at President Barack Obama for not having intervened more aggressively earlier.
A favorite myth of Official Washington is that Syrian “moderates” would have prevailed if only Obama had bombed the Syrian military and provided sophisticated weapons to the rebels.
Though no such “moderate” rebel movement ever existed – at least not in any significant numbers – that reality is ignored by all the “smart people” of Washington. It is simply too good a talking point to surrender. The truth is that Obama was right when he told New York Times columnist Thomas L. Friedman in August 2014 that the notion of a “moderate” rebel force that could achieve much was “always … a fantasy.”

US Trained Force Joins Al Qaeda, Marches on Damascus
Posted by Gordon Duff, Senior Editor on April 26, 2015
General Allen’s “moderate rebels” trained to fight ISIS and Al Nusra switch sides
By Gordon Duff, Senior Editor
Yesterday, a 1200 man force invaded Syria from Turkey, a force armed with American M16 rifles, the latest TOW missiles and advanced Stinger air defense systems. The roads are strewn with burning Syrian tanks while the Syrian Air Force tries to slow their advance through the city of Idlib and into Syria. The armored brigade that invaded Syria was the first unit trained by the US under the command of General John Allen.
This unit was supposed to fight ISIS and Al Nusra. Instead, perhaps no surprise to many, it immediately changed sides and attacked the Syrian Army, doing exactly what General Allen had promised the Atlantic Council would and could never happen. Was this another American failure or something more sinister?
Marine General John Allen, slated to be NATO commander before sharing the spotlight with General Petraeus in a series of Pentagon sex scandals, had been tasked by President Obama to train a 5000 man force inside Turkey. The force, whose initially units deployed to Syria yesterday, however has joined ISIS and Al Qaeda, American trained and armed to the teeth.
500 Tow Missiles from Israel
. . . . . . .
The combined assault, Al Nusra’s new American trained armored brigade crosses from Turkey, Israel ties down the Syrian Army in the south with air assaults while Saudi backed terrorists gain a foothold in Lebanon. Though Saudi Arabia has given Lebanon $3bn for French weapons, ostensibly to strengthen the Beirut government against the militias, it is more likely their real aim to use Lebanon as an anvil as Turkish and Israeli forces descend on Damascus. This is a more realistic assessment of what is seen than many want to admit.

Source: Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar Behind Attack on Jisr Al-Shaghour
Posted by Gordon Duff, Senior Editor on April 26, 2015
Riyadh and Doha masterminded and led the terrorists’ recent attack on a strategic region in Idlib
“Turkey, backed by Saudi Arabia and Qatar, has sent over 5,000 foreign-backed terrorists to Syria through its borders to help the Al-Nusra Front terrorist group to attack Jisr al-Shaghour in Idlib,” a source close to Ahrar al-Sham Takfiri group said on Sunday.
The Syrian army and Takfiri terrorist groups, specially the Al-Nusra Front, have been engaged in heavy clashes in Idlib since two days ago.
The source said the Turkish intelligence agency, “MIT, assisted by counterparts from friendly European states” have been working on the plan since one month ago, adding that MIT and Turkish army officers are now leading the war from a command center in Southern Turkey in a bid to reverse the current trend and equation in Northern Syria, “where militants are losing ground every day”.
On Saturday, Syrian air force targeted a convoy of the foreign-backed terrorists traveling from Turkey to Idlib in Northwestern Syria.
The Syrian fighter jets struck the terrorists’ vehicles on Al-Qaniyeh-Al-Janoudiyeh road near the Turkish borders.
A large number of terrorists were killed and their vehicles were completely destroyed during the Syrian air raid.
Syria has been grappling with a deadly crisis since March 2011. The violence fuelled by Takfiri groups has so far claimed the lives of over 210,000 people, according to reports. New figures show that over 76,000 people, including thousands of children, lost their lives in Syria last year.
Over 3.8 million Syrians have left their country since the beginning of the crisis. According to reports, more than seven million Syrians have become internally displaced.
